Permeable Pavers

A win-win for functionality and aesthetics. Drain Smart, Stay Beautiful

Permeable pavers are specially designed concrete unit pavers set with wider, gravel-filled joints that let rainwater pass straight through and soak into the ground below. The result is a surface that manages stormwater on its own. Reducing runoff, easing the load on drainage systems, and helping water recharge into the soil instead of pooling or flooding. And you get all of that with the same beauty and durability as traditional sand-set paving. Ideal for driveways, walkways, patios, and parking areas.

Why permeable pavers?

Smart water management:

  • Rainwater infiltrates the ground through the joints, reducing runoff and the need for additional drainage.

  • Helps prevent standing water, which can lead to erosion and unwanted pooling.

Built to last:

  • More durable and longer-lasting than poured concrete or asphalt.

  • Unlike materials that crack or break, permeable pavers handle heavy loads and traffic, and individual units can be serviced if ever needed.

Eco-friendly by design:

  • Promotes natural groundwater recharge.

  • A sustainable choice, especially valuable in drought-prone or drainage-sensitive areas.

  • As more cities adopt stricter stormwater rules, permeable paving can help meet local requirements on driveways, patios, and parking areas.

Beauty without compromise:

  • All the aesthetic range of traditional paving - colors, patterns, and finishes with the added performance of drainage built in.

Installed right, because permeable only works if the base does

A permeable paver surface is only as good as the system beneath it, and this is where experience matters. Permeable paving isn't just standard pavers with wider gaps, it's an engineered drainage system from the ground up. We build on a layered, open-graded aggregate base designed to receive water, store it, and let it infiltrate into the soil below, topped with a bedding layer and the right aggregate worked into the paver joints so the surface keeps draining for the long haul. Done correctly, the whole assembly manages stormwater for decades. Installed with the wrong base, the wrong joint material, or improper compaction, a permeable surface clogs or fails. Forty years of paver installation is the difference.
